Top Moments of 2024: A Year in Review at IPeople Healthcare

With 2024 in the rearview mirror, it's time to reflect on a year full of milestones, innovations, and unforgettable moments at IPeople Healthcare. From launching groundbreaking technology to strengthening our industry partnerships, this year has been nothing short of transformative. Here’s a look at some of the standout moments from our journey through 2024.

Offline Suite Version 3: Live in the Wild

One of our most anticipated and celebrated achievements of 2024 kicked off in January 2024 with the first successful implementation of the Offline Suite Version 3. After months of rigorous testing and feedback from users, we were thrilled to see it go live in the wild. The new version introduced powerful features that ensured data accessibility and enhanced the overall user experience. IPeople Healthcare’s Offline Suite is the first solution to mimic the MEDITECH Expanse web acute experience. By mimicking the user experience of the known EHR, user adoption has been fantastic. The transition was smooth, and the feedback has been overwhelmingly positive. Version 3 sets a new standard for business continuity and data resiliency. The Offline Suite is the answer hospitals need as they wrestle with new challenges to ensure local data survivability.

MUSE International Conference: A Paw-sitive Experience

The MUSE International Conference is always a highlight for the IPeople Healthcare team. The conference always feels like a reunion. We love the ability to present and showcase our technology, but the best is the time to catch up with so many friends. This year brought a unique twist to the event: puppies! We are always excited for ways to partner with the MUSE organization, and this year may have been the best yet. The puppy petting station brought some joy and reduced stress for attendees. It was a hit! Attendees were able to take a break from the tech-heavy discussions and de-stress with some cuddly companions. Beyond the fun, the conference was an excellent opportunity for us to engage with our peers, share insights, and further establish IPeople Healthcare’s position as an innovative leader in the healthcare technology space.

MEDITECH Alliance: Strengthening Our Partnership

We were proud to have the opportunity to participate in MEDITECH Live 2024. This year was specifically exciting for the IPeople team; we were able to finalize our MEDITECH Alliance Partnership as one of the first solutions specifically focused on addressing the need for business continuity. This collaboration has already opened some new opportunities for collaboration and provided new and existing customers the confidence of a trusted solution that integrates with their MEDITECH environment. Our participation in MEDITECH Live was an excellent opportunity to connect with top healthcare leaders, explore the future of data accessibility, and solidify our commitment to providing the most trusted solution for local data survivability.

MUN Conference: The Evolution of Healthcare Internationally

Another highlight from 2024 was our involvement in the MUN Conference. The focus of the MEDITECH Users Network gathering was the effort of Maximising the Value of MEDITECH. The MUN Conference has quickly become a favorite conference to connect with MEDITECH Users across UK and Ireland. There is an exciting shift happening with the digital transformation of the electronic patient record. There is such an excitement and focus on innovation and moving the patient experience forward. This event gave us the opportunity to engage on an international level with the top healthcare professionals, technologists, and thought leaders.

Unwavering Commitment to Local Data Survivability

IPeople is steadfast in our commitment to building more resilient data accessibility, and we’ve placed a significant emphasis on local data survivability. With the increasing threats to data security and the need for real-time access to critical patient information, the IPeople Healthcare team has increased our focus to enhance our solutions to ensure that healthcare facilities can care for patients without interruption, no matter if it was planned or unexpected. Not only was there an increase in threats this year, the average day of downtime cost healthcare organizations $1.9 million, with recovery times ranging from minimal disruption to several months. This year, we rolled out new features that allow for improved data redundancy, ensuring that healthcare providers can always access the information they need, no matter the circumstances. Disruptions to the MEDITECH environment are not always planned; even planned disruptions can negatively impact patient care. Disruptions are not an option. With the increased dependency on the digital patient record and digital workflows for clinicians, a robust solution that mimics the clinical workflow is a must. When critical access to patient data can have a drastic effect on patient care, the IPeople Healthcare Offline Suite stands alone as the trusted solution for data resiliency.

Leading the Conversation on Business Continuity

With the growing complexity of healthcare infrastructure, the topic of business continuity has become more crucial than ever. Throughout 2024, the IPeople team has been at the forefront of conversations about how healthcare organizations can better prepare for planned and unexpected disruptions. The IPeople Healthcare team participated in local gatherings and large national conferences. One theme was consistent: there is a critical need to address the need for data accessibility. Downtime procedures are outdated, and the process for providing the data during an interruption is even more outdated. An unfortunate theme throughout our conversations this year has been the distrust in current outdated solutions. Hospital leaders are desperate for a solution that is trusted and reliable. IPeople Healthcare is proud to say that the Offline Suite is that trusted solution. From natural disasters to cyber threats, our platform has been continuously evolving to support continuity of patient care. We are proud to be a trusted solution that empowers our clients to stay focused on patient care, even in the most challenging circumstances.

The Most Facilities Live in One Year

2024 has been a year of growth for IPeople Healthcare, with a record-breaking number of healthcare facilities going live on our Offline Suite. We’ve seen more facilities transition to IPeople solutions this year than ever before! This achievement reflects the trust and confidence that healthcare providers place in our technology to improve their local data resiliency strategy. From small community clinics to large healthcare systems, our platform is helping organizations at every scale achieve greater data resiliency, giving them the confidence that no matter the interruption, patient care will not be impacted.

Looking Ahead to 2025

As we reflect on the highlights of 2024, we’re filled with pride and gratitude for everything we’ve accomplished together. We are so thankful for the committed customers with whom we have the privilege of partnering. We are honored to have the opportunity to participate in the strategic planning for data resiliency. But the work doesn’t stop here. We’re already planning for an even more exciting 2025 with new innovations, partnerships, and projects in the pipeline. We remain committed to advancing healthcare technology and continuing to provide our clients with the tools they need to deliver exceptional patient care in the face of interruptions.

Thank you to all of our clients, partners, and team members for making 2024 such a remarkable year. We can’t wait to see what the future holds.

Stay tuned for more updates as we continue to revolutionize healthcare in 2025!
